Great American Short Screenplay Contest

Welcome to the 4th Annual Great American Short Screenplay Contest!

In seven (correctly formatted) pages or less, put your story on the page for a chance at a full-tuition scholarship to TheFilmSchool’s flagship program, the 3-Week-Intensive, an intimate and unique approach to elevating storytelling through the art of film.

Prizes
The Grand Prize winner will receive a full scholarship to TheFilmSchool’s Summer 2012 or Spring 2013 3-Week-Intensive. Up to five runners-up will be chosen and will receive $500 scholarships, as well.

Email your script with your name, telephone number and email address clearly indicated on it along with a $20 submission fee.

Results will be announced on this website and via our email newsletter (along with Facebook & Twitter) by June 25, 2012.

Entries must be correctly formatted and emailed no later than June 18, 2012. 
Please do not send any other materials. 
Scripts will not be returned. 
Only winners will be notified.
