Prodigy Camp

THE PRODIGY CAMP is a place for the world's top promising young filmmakers to develop every aspect of their craft. In one intensive week, they will be taught the secrets of screenwriting, directing and cinematography, and they will apply that knowledge, shooting and editing in a SHORT film. Students stay at the camp supervised, and nothing but top flight award-winning filmmakers, including Oscar and Emmy winners, teach there. Students work on films most of the day, campfires and storytelling with film makers at night.

Every summer, our Prodigy Camp accepts 20 students, ages 13 to 18. Camp is held at a private retreat in the Northwest for six days. Tuition for the session is $1,995. Apply now or contact us to learn more. With your application, please send a sample of your best art -- be it 5 pages of writing, a short film, a recording of a song, a painting, drawing, etc. Second, please enclose a picture of yourself that best captures their personality -- and explain why it accomplishes that.

DATES: June 21-27, 2009. Application deadline is May 15, 2009. Early acceptance deadline March 30, 2009.
