How much does TheFilmSchool cost?

The cost of each session is $2,995.

I don’t have a paypal account, and I don’t want to create one just for this.  What other forms of payment do you accept?

You may pay with a credit or debit card without using paypal.  Click here for a screenshot of what that looks like.

I’m already in a 4-year program for filmmaking / screenwriting. Why should I go to TheFilmSchool?

A four year program is a great way to increase your knowledge and skill, and so is TheFilmSchool. TheFilmSchool’s bootcamp is the only program of its kind that focuses solely on the craft of storytelling. To that end, every class is geared towards helping you become a better storyteller. See more of the benefits that come with our program here.

Shouldn’t I just pursue a Master’s Degree in Screenwriting?

Only you can decide what path is best for you. If you have the time and the inclination, a Master’s Degree could very well be the right choice for you. That should not prevent you from considering our three-week intensive, however. If you are committed enough to your craft, then attending bootcamp with our amazing faculty can only benefit you.

I’m an actor/filmmaker/writer. Is TheFilmSchool right for me?

Regardless of your chosen discipline, TheFilmSchool’s Three Week Intensive is a valuable experience, centered around the craft of storytelling. The narrative you will learn to craft won’t be just any story, it will be yours.

SCREENWRITING BOOTCAMP

I just submitted my application. When will you notify me of acceptance?

Once we have reviewed your application and a decision has been made, we will notify you immediately.

I’ve been accepted. Now What?

Here’s a list of items for preparing.

Do I need to read / watch all of the recommended items from the faculty? That list is gigantic.

While the list may be daunting, they have been recommended because they will further your understanding of the craft, and are relevant to the courses. Try to read/watch as many as you can.

PRODIGY CAMP

I’m turning 18 this summer. Should I apply to The Prodigy Camp or the Screenwriting Bootcamp?

Apply to Prodigy Camp first. The courses are very different and this will be your last year to qualify for Prodigy Camp. Then, if you like, you can apply to a later session of Screenwriting Bootcamp.
