TheFilmSchool

The 3-Week Intensive is TheFilmSchool’s cornerstone program, and renowned around the world as “life-changing.” Since 2004, the “Bootcamp” has championed many independent filmmakers by encouraging a crafted creative process with a focus on original and deeply personal storytelling. This course teaches the principles and mechanisms of structure and character, as well as the courage of personal storytelling, through six distinct approaches. Students in this program come from all walks of life and all levels of filmmaking to be a part of this unique program and to get a taste for Seattle’s unparalleled creative community. Additionally, three award-winning guest lecturers are invited each session as part of our Speaker Series (last Spring’s opening speaker was Mark Heyman, co-writer of BLACK SWAN!).

 

• Each session accepts 25 students.
• The cost of each session is $2,995.
  • There is a $50 fee to apply.
• 3-Weeks, 6-days/week, 10 hours/day.

Need assistance with tuition?

• If you require a scholarship to offset the tuition costs, please submit your application no later than June 15th, 2013.  We will accept applications for scholarship assistance after that, but priority is given to early applicants.  All accepted applicants will be required to pay a $500 deposit to hold their seat.
• We also offer a variety of contests throughout the year that offer FULL and 1/2 Scholarships as prizes.  Subscribe to our newsletter to receive email notifications of our contest announcements.
